Training PicThroughout the year, the staff of Knox County Health Department offers educational sessions and training for area residents, service providers and professional staff. Recent presentations include a session on radon for the Knox County Realtor Association and a session on the algal blooms for area beach and waterway operators, presented in collaboration with Ohio EPA and the Ohio Department of Health.

ServSafe Course
March 5, 11, 13; Aug. 12, 13, 14; Oct. 16, 23, 30
9 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day.   A three-day Certification in Food Protection (ServSafe) course for food service managers. The Serv-Safe program is offered three times a year. Class fee is $175 per person which includes the textbook and handouts.

Person-in-Charge (PIC)
April 10, May 15, Sept. 18 , Nov. 13
2-3:30 p.m. Single session, entry level Person-in-Charge class for food service workers. No fee.
