Nov. 21, 2017: To help local food service operations meet the new state requirement, the Environmental Health staff will offer Level I and Level II food safety workshops throughout 2017.  The Level I Person-in-Charge Class is one 2-hour session and is offered at no charge. The Level II ServSafe Training consists of three one-day sessions held over three weeks. The cost for the ServSafe training is $193. For more information, click below for a complete schedule of training sessions and a registration form.  Rule 3717-1-2.4 of the Ohio Administrative Code requires for each Level 3 & 4 food service operation, that at least one employee who has supervisory and management responsibility and the authority to direct and control food preparation and service, obtain the level two certification in food protection.
