The Knox County Health Department has been providing home health services since 1966 – we truly are your “Hometown Home Health” agency. Our program offers an alternative to extended hospital stays and nursing homes by providing professional medical and personal services while teaching the family ways to take a more active role in the patient’s care.
It should always be your choice when deciding on a Home Health program; an agency should never be assigned to you. Call us at 740-392-2200 to see how we can help you.
All medically related services are administered under a physician’s plan of care. The client’s assigned case manager works with the physician to be certain the client’s condition is followed very closely.

Home Health shortens and, in some cases, even eliminates hospital stays. Patients who are homebound, either temporarily or permanently, and require medical care may qualify for home health care. Services are available regardless of age, income, race, or disability. Private Insurance, Worker’s Comp., VA, Medicare & Medicaid accepted
