Hidden In Plain Sight (HIPS) is a drug awareness program for parents, providers and/or gaurdians.
The program focuses on what parents can learn about everyday items that may be indicators of risky behavior and/or drug use for their preteen or teenager. It includes a mock teenage bedroom that parents and caregivers can inspect to understand what may be truly hidden in plain sight.
Parents and guardians are often amazed at the items that can easily be hidden from them and represent that a child may be in possession of a tool or container for using drugs or alcohol or have actually concealed drugs or alcohol in their own home.
