Cooler temperatures and falling leaves mean flu season is just around the corner. To help local residents prepare for the upcoming flu season, the Knox County Health Department will host several community flu shot clinics. All of the clinics are on a walk-in basis, no appointment is needed.
At each community clinic, flu shots will be available for adults and children, ages, 6 mos. of age and older. Medicaid, Medicare and most forms of insurance will be accepted for payment. Otherwise, the cost for the flu shot is $30 and can be paid in cash or by check. Clinic attendees need to bring their ID and medical/insurance card. (Click here for more)
